(PRWEB) December 15, 2004 -- Forward Thinking Records announced today that man on earths debut CD, disposable sounds for the fickle mind, has been added to over 200 college radio stations, and is tracking well, after just four weeks. This includes the bands first #1 at WKWZ (New York), and an impressive number of stations charting the band on their top 30 lists.

Lead singer for man on earth, Steve Nathan, said The response from station managers, djs and college listeners has been amazing. I was really excited to happen to catch us playing on a station about a week ago, so I immediately called the station to thank them for their support. It was the most surreal thing to learn they were equally as excited that I was actually calling them. So strange and cool."

Interviews with several college radio stations such as WBRS, XTSR, WRUR and WMUH, as well as local performances are currently being arranged.

Critical acclaim for disposable sounds for the fickle mind continues to pour in from a wide range of press, indie record labels and other industry leaders. Ed Rivadavia of All Music Guide noted, "Surprisingly mature and far-reaching, the album is really too eclectic to simplify with easy comparisons." Alan Robert, Life of Agony/Epic Recording Artist, went further to say, "man on earth is doing what a lot of bands today just don't have the guts to do...wear their hearts on their sleeves. I've had the privilege of watching this band grow into a deep and musical monster."

Forward Thinking Records also announced the launch of a man on earth branded iPod giveway. Information about the contest, where one lucky person answering two correct questions will win an iPod loaded with man on earth tunes, can be found on www.manonearth.com. This contest will be part of a larger radio promotion campaign beginning in January, but early entry, for those interested in being able to carry around their disposable sounds, is highly encouraged.

man on earths last show of the year will be on Saturday, December 18th at The Limerick Room at 69 West 23rd Street (between 5th and 6th Avenue) in New York City. This special end of the year" party, also part of the OriginalSessions/Jagermusic Buzz Band Search, will celebrate the great success of the band and the CD in 2004. Doors open early and the band goes on at 11 PM.
