Advion Introduces Nano LC Capability and AUI Software for the NanoMate® HD

The NanoMate HD now offers nano LC column-to-chip coupling for proteomics research. This new feature allows you to not only infuse but also to couple your 75 micron column to the High Density ESI Chip without removing the NanoMate HD system from your mass spectrometer. Additionally, you now have the ability to change to a new nozzle in less than three seconds, reducing the risk of sample loss. Also introduced is the new Advanced User Interface for ChipSoft. You simply load your proteins and ligands into the 96 or 384 well plate and program the software to mix them in the combination you need, then infuse directly into your mass spectrometer.

Ithaca, NY (PRWEB) December 17, 2004 -- Advion BioSciences Inc., a leading provider of electrospray mass spectrometry products has released two new enhancements for its NanoMate® HD System technology. They are nano LC column-to-chip coupling and Advanced User Interface software (AUI).

The unique combination of nano LC columns with an electrospray chip gives proteomic researchers the separation qualities of a column with the sensitivity of chip-based nanoelectrospray. Designed to work with all commercially available 75 micron columns, the nano LC column-to-chip coupling feature provides sub fmol detection limits for protein identification and the ability to minimize the risk of sample loss by changing to a new sprayer nozzle during acquisition. Additionally, users can switch between infusion mode and nano LC mode in less than five minutes.

Advions new AUI software coupled with the NanoMate HD and High Density ESI Chip® provides a complete solution for investigating non covalent interactions. The software allows researchers to mix protein and ligand prior to infusion for automated Kd determinations as well as to control incubation time and temperature prior to analysis.

Earlier in the year, Advion introduced a cooling capability as part of the NanoMate system as well as a High Density ESI Chip with 400 nanoelectrospray nozzles.
