In an Average Year, in the US, There are 4 Million Reports of Domestic Violence - But Strong Women Generally Don't Get Abused - Ever Wonder Why? Perhaps They Know Something That Weaker Women Don't Know

"Release Your Inner Bitch" (286 pages, paperback, available from Author House) offers a chance for women of all ages, races, religions and occupations to come forward and change the concept of the word. It is one of the most flexible words in the English language. It can be a noun, verb, adjective, description or a state of mind. It has a zoom lens and works overtime. It used to be word that brought lightning bolts out of the sky. Now, redefined, it is a compliment of the highest order. It is a process of growth, personal development, self-determination; hardly the derogatory definition it once was.

(PRWEB) December 17, 2004 -- "Release Your Inner Bitch" is not another self-help book that women will never read. This one was written by and for women, with specific moments revealed to Rose Stadler, MSW, when asked if they were strong enough to withstand the word. The answers were as different as the women interviewed. They ranged from age 81 down to 20, were from all races, walks of life, all socio-economic backgrounds and educational levels. They were truck drivers, hairdressers, firefighters, waitresses, bartenders, professors, teachers, prostitutes, hard-core drug users and a pastor. One of the women was doing hard time for manslaughter. This is a perfect gift for every woman in your life - including yourself.

Rose Stadler, MSW, is the author of about 20 novels, mostly fiction, her most current work, The Confederette, can be gotten from Publish America and other on-line bookstores. Ms. Stadler has worked in the trenches of humanity and has duct taped her pant-legs to keep the cockroaches from crawling in. This is her most serious work, non-fiction, conceived when she was trying to get an abused young mother of two to testify against the man who tried to kill her (six times.) The woman was a sweetheart with a soft voice. She offered to pray for her attacker. Ms. Stadler wanted to shake her until her teeth rattled, but said, "Stand up. Get mad. Strong women don't get abused." It was the light-bulb moment. Instead of writing yet another self help book that would collect dust, she began an intensive project wherein she gathered hundreds of shining inner strength moments from domestic abuse survivors. Thus the book was born, and now in it's second printing, it's better than ever.
