ThereArePlaces.com, the Ultimate Travel Website, Announces Its New, Interactive Paris Guide

WWW.ThereArePlaces.com has launched a Paris Guide featuring the twenty-three most popular tourist attractions in the City of Light. The Guide, which divides Paris into six tourist areas, features detailed interactive maps, striking photographs and lively text.

Laguna Hills, CA (PRWEB) December 17, 2004 -- TeleMapics LLC, publisher of www.ThereArePlaces.com , announced today the launch of the first of a new series of online city guides that will enhance the websites Destination Guides. The new Paris City Guide reviews the top twenty-three tourist destinations in the City of Light.

Our new Paris Guide is a great way for a person to get started planning a trip to Paris," said Company President Mike Dobson. The Guide includes an overview of tourist Paris. It describes, illustrates, and maps the attractions that should be on your list if you are planning travel to Paris. In addition, the Guide contains a primer on Paris that explains what you need to know about the geography of Paris, such as arrondissements and the Right and Left Banks. Our detailed touring maps include street names, attractions, and arrondissements, all at a map scale that is extremely readable. Best of all, you can click on a map symbol next to the description and go to the map, or click attraction on the map to go to the description."

The new Guide divides tourist Paris into six sightseeing areas. They are the Champs Elysées, Louvre, Marais, Latin Quarter, Invalides, and Eiffel tower. Day trips to Versailles, Fontainebleau, Giverny, and Chantilly are also included in the Guide along with descriptions and numerous photographs. Travel tips and hints have been added throughout the Guide to make Paris even easier to navigate.

ThereArePlaces.com offers two distinctive guide sections: Information Guides and Destination Guides. The new Paris Guide is an addition to the Destination Guide for France. Since the launch of ThereArePlaces in October of this year, it has added twenty new articles to the information Guide section of the site and extended its coverage of attractions in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Additional City Guides are in development with London scheduled for release soon.

Although ThereArePlaces is primarily designed for those new" to the world of travel, it contains information of value to all travelers. During the months ahead, the site will be augmented with expanded content, new functionality and even more reasons to pack your bags and get on the road.

ThereArePlaces is not a travel service provider. The site does not sell travel goods, make travel reservations, or provide ticketing services. As put by the Company president Mike Dobson, Our commitment is to provide travel advice that might help you to take the journey of a lifetime."
