(PRWEB) December 18, 2004 -- Standard and custom hot air shrink tunnels supplied as complete systems featuring a high efficiency Leister hot air blower, bracket and tunnel for applying tamper evident sleeves and other packaging applications are being introduced by Malcom Hot Air Systems of Portsmouth, Rhode Island.

Malcom Hot Air Shrink Tunnel Systems feature the Leister Hotwind S Hot Air Blower which is electronically adjustable from ambient up to 1,100 degrees F and provides variable air flows from 10 to 20 CFM. Ideal for applying tamper evident sleeves and shrink films, this self-contained system can be supplied with a bracket, tunnel and conveyor that runs at speeds up to 60 FPM.

Available in standard sizes from 3" to 16" long to accommodate bottle tops up to 4" diameter and 4" high, the Malcom Hot Air Shrink Tunnel System is easy to operate and runs on 110/220/440 VAC. The Leister Hotwind S has a sealed bearing mounted induction motor that is designed for continuous operation at a low 53 dB noise level. Custom sizes and blowers are optional.
