About Nu Day
Many times the term 'Once in a Lifetime' is used for special moments and events in our lives. In this it is 'Nu Day' as one of the premiere bands that has ever been assembled in the bay area! This collaboration of nine musicians have been performing for many years in various groups and have now come together to create 'Nu Day.'

Most of the members have toured and performed with such acts as Kool & The Gang, Con-Funk-Shun,Tower of Power and many more! The band has a 3 piece horn section that many feel is one of the most entertaining to look at as well as listen to with a variety of dance moves and horn arrangements that audiences absolutely love. They are, Jr (J-Bird) Rojas on Sax, Derrick (MC) McCullough on Trombone and Nasario Gutierrez on Trumpet. Next is the rhythm section led by Musical Director Robert Rojas on Bass, Jerry Rojas on Drums percussions and Vocals, Joey (Jam) Flores on Drums, percussions and vocals, Ken Hurrill on Lead and Rhythm Guitar and Sheila Renee on Keyboards and Vocals. On lead vocals 'The Front Man'Cornell (CC) Carter is indeed just that with a range that few vocalist have been blessed with. 'Nu Day' has a versatility that includes playing R&B (old school), Funk, Motown and Big Band/Swing, & Latin. www.nudayband.com
