(PRWEB) December 19, 2004 -- Pizza Serena, which serves the town of Kent and Kent state University had a test of its online ordering service even before it was officially launched.
Word of mouth had quickly spread the news and one enterprising customer accessed the order site to try to order his favorite pizza. When he discovered it had not yet been included in the online menu, he used the order pages comments feature to point this out. Philip Evans, owner of Pizza Serena, http://www.hotpizzafast.com, quickly corrected the oversight and responded to the customer's email. The customer was then able to place his order online the next day.
During the first two weeks of operation Pizza Serena signed up 64 online customers and the number is growing daily. Most of the customers are students from local Kent State University (KSU).
To promote its online ordering, Pizza Serena will award Free Pizza for one year to one lucky online customer. The winner will be selected from among the first 100 customers to register for online ordering. The winner will be able to order one free pizza every week for the next 52 weeks.
Pizza Serena's online ordering service is provided by Pizza Galaxy of Red Bank, NJ. Pizza Galaxy, http://www.pizzagalaxy.com, founded and operated by the husband and wife team of Rudy and Gina Vener in 2004, specializes in providing online ordering for independent pizzerias and restaurants.
