P.T. Barnum expert Joe Vitale, author of "There's A Customer Born every Minute," is offering a $1,000 scholarship to the most outrageous publicist or intern willing to promote his April 5th event on a global scale.

Marketing specialist and prolific author Joe Vitale, author of "There's A Customer Born Every Minute" and the Nightingale-Conant audio program, "The Power of Outrageous Marketing," is fed up.
"I've been looking for a publicist to help me promote my next book on April 5th," says the Texas author. "But so far all of them are traditionalists who want a retainer to send out boring news releases."
Vitale says he's looking for P.T.Barnum, the famous showman and circus promoter known for his outrageous stunts and shows.
"I know there's a young, hungry publicist out there, probably still in school, who would love to take on my challenge."
The challenge?
"I want to shake the earth on April 5th when my new book is released," explains Vitale. "I'm challenging publicists and interns to come up with an idea that will make the world sit up and take notice."
And Vitale is putting his money where his mouth is: "I'll give the best idea a $1,000 scholarship," he declared.
