(PRWEB) December 21, 2004 -- In recent weeks, the pain medications, Vioxx, Celebrex and Naproxen, in a medication category called NSAIDs- Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs, have undergone new safety challenges because of a possible link to the development of Stroke and/or Heart Attack. Kenneth Gross, M.D., a Miami Neurologist will conduct Case Reviews and a relevant Scientific Literature Analysis for attorneys with clients who may have sustained adverse events such as Stroke and/or Heart Attack from Vioxx, Celebrex or Naproxen.

Dr. Gross has significant clinical experience in Neurology and Internal Medicine including areas involving Neurocardiology, Complications of Abnormal Blood Clotting and Inflammatory Disorders. He has outstanding clincial experience in Pain Management, which involves the prescribing of NSAIDs. In addition, Dr. Gross has specific expertise in the diagnosis and treatment Stroke and Vascular Occlusion. Beyond that clinical experience, Dr. Gross has been involved in scientific investigations in Neurological Aspects of Pain and has served as a consultant to the Pharmaceutical Industry in the evaluation of Medical Therapy for Cerebrovascular Disease (particularly Stroke due to Arterial Obstruction, a major condition under scrutiny in this medication firestorm).

He looks forward to serving the Legal Community as it defends individuals who have sustained potential vascular complications from Vioxx, Celebrex or Naproxen. Dr. Gross is also working on the development of new hypotheses concerning how drugs in this category need to be re-evaluated therapeutically.

Improved understanding of the clinical utility of NSAIDs has tremendous implications, given their wide usage and broad applicability for many diseases. Initially through this consultancy, Dr. Gross hopes to offer the legal community analyses of potential adverse effects related to Vioxx, Celebrex or Naproxen in individual clients while providing a highly sophisticated medical literature review linked to specific untoward consequences potentially implicated by Vioxx, Celebrex or Naproxen administration.
