KAdd Associates Wins Runner-Up in AutoDesk, Inc. Design Innovation Contest

Kevin Anderson was awarded the runner-up winner in the professional category of the 2004 Design Innovation Contest held by AutoDesk, Inc. The announcement was made December 1st at the Software companies annual AutoDesk University conference held November 30 thru December 3d 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Kevin Anderson (of Lynde Anderson Architects / Kadd Associates)) was awarded the runner-up winner in the professional category of the 2004 Design Innovation Contest held by AutoDesk, Inc. The announcement was made December 1st at the Software companies annual AutoDesk University conference held November 30 thru December 3d 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The winning design submitted was of a new custom single-family home design, under 3000 sf, in a Craftsman / Prairie-Shingle style/ Rustic Contemporary hybrid. Phil Bernstein V.P. of AutoDesk Building Services Division presented the award on stage to Kevin Anderson at a special BSD dinner reception on the evening of Wednesday December 1, 2004.

The award included; the trip for the week stays at the MGM Grand and the conference, software, and other items. Kevin also took and passed AutoCAD Architectural Desktop Expert Certification testing at the conference. He is only the third person in the state of Illinois to achieve that level.
