WBC Continental Americas Light Heavyweight Champion Prince Badi Ajamu Agrees to Management Deal With SCORE! Media

Media firm to manage all business affairs of light heavy contender.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) December 22, 2004 -- SCORE! Media, the bleeding edge sports and entertainment media firm, has agreed in principle to manage WBC Continental Americas Light Heavyweight Champion, Prince Badi Ajamu. The 32 year old Philadelphia native has a record of 22-2-1 and is currently ranked 29th in the world by the WBC and 15th by the USBO. I came to know of the Prince through my East Coast network. Ive seen him box both on ESPN2 and Showtime and when I learned that he was managing and promoting himself, I suggested that SCORE! take a prominent role in managing a career that is on the upswing by virtue of his dominant performance in the WBC Continental Americas championship fight. We agreed to go forward on Saturday," disclosed Dennis Bernstein, SCORE! Medias Chairman from his Los Angeles office.

2004 has been a both year of transition and increased exposure for the light heavyweight division. The vanquishing of Roy Jones, Jr. and the terrific championship bout between Glen Johnson and Antonio Tarver has regenerated interest in the 175 pound weight class. We feel that with proper nurturing and smart management, Badi can rapidly enter the Top 10 and challenge the likes of Johnson and Tarver for supremacy in the division. Adamu carries on the legacy of exciting light heavyweight fighters that come out of the City of Brotherly Love. His charismatic and hard working style reminds boxing fans of fighters like Matthew Saad Muhammad and Dwight Braxton Qawi. Out of the ring, the Prince is a great role model; he doesnt smoke or drink, never been involved with the law and is as articulate a fighter as there is. Were looking for a fight in March or April of 2005 and its our belief at SCORE! that the Prince can be an internationally known star in the light heavyweight division," Bernstein concluded.
