Performing in The Swing Era Show are the top draws of professional ballroom dance including Balboa and Bal-Swing Champions Steve & Heidi; four-time U.S. Swing Champion Phil Trau; Bay Area favorite Valerie Quevedo, singer, dancer and choreographer for San Francisco's own Beach Blanket Babylon; Sally Van Loon, featured tap soloist for Tower of Power and Santana; and the nationally recognized exhibition ballroom team of Karen & Val Kasvin, who light the stage with rhythm tap, jazz and swing. Featured musicians Don Neely and his ten-piece Royal Society Jazz Orchestra are renowned for capturing the essence of syncopated Big Band jazz with an approach both fresh and exciting.

Trained in all forms of ballroom dance, Mr. Flores is a studied artist and dynamic speaker -- one who can share the history of ballroom dance and the importance of the art form in our culture with as much clarity and passion as he does his love of dance. His mission is to spread the joy of ballroom dance -- by talking, teaching, and producing shows for all audiences -- and to extend ballrooms reach to those who enjoy taking to the floor themselves, and those who enjoy the simple pleasure of watching a magical performance.

Active in the highly-disciplined world of ballroom competition until 1992, Mr. Flores earned Theatre Arts Grand Ball Champion. Now based in Walnut Creek, Mr. Flores teaches privately and through SOLAD Dance Center, Diablo Light Opera Company, and other local venues; and produces shows dba Adrian Flores Presents. His first show production as AFP was last summer's sold-out The Latin Show. Mr. Flores is available for interviews and detailed information about the show and performers; photos are also available.
