Music & Motion Dance to Appear on Your Morning on CN8"
Music & Motion Dance Productions will be performing live on Your Morning on CN8" on Thursday, December 30th, 2004 between 9AM -- 11AM.
(PRWEB) December 27, 2004 -- A group of teenagers from three Philadelphia area counties found a common ground through dance and formed a non-profit company, Music & Motion Dance Productions.
Under the artistic direction of Steven Weisz, who coordinates area Teen Board programs, the groups mission is to empower young people through the arts and dance to build self-esteem and inspire creative self-expression and community action.
This group of pre-professional dancers ages 15 -- 22, performs locally and in surrounding communities throughout the year, as well as performances in a fully professional atmosphere presented for corporations, retailers and live arts related venues. Music & Motion fulfills the need of providing young dancers with performing experience in a nurturing environment, while continually exciting audiences wherever they perform.
On Thursday, December 30th, 2004 between 9AM and 11AM, they will perform live on the Comcast Networks Your Morning on CN8" hosted by Cathy Ballou and Cyndi Edwards. This show features the latest in lifestyle trends, fitness options, cooking tips, entertainment news, as well as the day's top headlines. Music & Motion will present several pieces from an original dance work Illuminescence, which first premiered at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival in 2004.
