The Lost Writings of the Pioneer of the Success Movement Revealed

Real Success, by Ken Shelton, chief editor of Leadership Excellence, and the editors of Success Magazine unveils the hidden writings and foundational insights that made Marden the pioneer of professional and personal success almost 100 years ago.

(PRWEB) December 25, 2004 -- Lost for years, the success of Orison Swett Marden is finally being revealed.

Real Success, by Ken Shelton, chief editor of Leadership Excellence, and the editors of Success Magazine unveils the hidden writings and foundational insights that made Marden the pioneer of professional and personal success almost 100 years ago.

In 1999, Shelton and the editors of Mardens ground-breaking magazine were ready to release Real Success to a world hungry for leadership and starving for direction. Just before its release, however, the economy took a down-turn, and took Success Magazine with it, as Mardens magazine went out of business, enjoying more than half a century of success as pioneer in leadership development. As a result, the book was threatened to never see the light of day. Until today.

Marden came from a tough background and wouldnt have let such tragic events stand in the way of success. His own life is full of countless examples in which he rose from the dust of chaos to triumph. Born into wretched poverty, Marden spent his youth without his parents (both of whom he had lost before he was eight) enduring hard labor and an abusive home life. Despite the ruin of a life he had endured, he took inspiration from a 19th century book entitled Self Help and worked his way into success, graduating from Harvard University Medical School and Boston University Law school (among other prestigious academies) and embarking on an entrepreneurial career that would earn him millions.

In 1890, Marden was hit with a series of disasters, including the destruction of all of his writings (some 5,000 pages). Determined to rise above the turmoil, Marden reconstructed his writings page by page and produced the influential best seller Pushing to the Front.

Following in the footsteps of Marden, himself, Executive Excellence Publishing is releasing this lost classic for the first time ever, five years after economic turmoil threatened to deny it the light of day.

Drafted from 21 audio scripts and 100 years of interviews and case studies from Mardens extensive writings and his own magazine, Real Success takes the reader on a journey to excellence, the Orison Swett Marden way. From building character to putting vision into action and building the power of influence, Real Success confirms why the best in leadership development, from Napoleon Hill to Og Mandino, consider Marden one of the most influential authors in their life.

Masterpieces endure the test of time," leadership guru Denis Waitley has said, And Orison Marden is the 'Stradivarius of Success. Ken Shelton and the editors of Success magazine have collaborated to offer us this timely and timeless literary gem, designed to be read, underlined, re-read with note sin the margin, and applied to our personal and professional missions and visions. Know matter where you are or what you are doing in your life, you can depend on the relevancy and wisdom in every chapter...Real Success holds the keys to the doors of your dreams and highest aspirations."
