Dallas Mom to Appear In Leading Fitness Magazine
Pamela Blackburn lost 18% bodyfat or the equivalent of almost 30 pounds of fat. Oxygen Magazine will highlight this fat loss journey in their March 2005 issue.
(PRWEB) December 25, 2004 -- It is difficult to lost 30 pounds, never mind 30 pounds of fat; yet that is exactly what one Rowlett (suburb of Dallas, Texas) mother of two did. It was enough to get the attention of Oxygen Magazine as they will feature her in their March 2005, #67 issue.
Pamela Blackburn set out to get in shape last year and ended up losing 18% bodyfat or almost 30 pounds of fat. Previously being a "thin-fat" person, it would have been difficult to tell that Ms. Blackburn was teetering on obesity with a bodyfat percentage of 31%. 300,000 deaths a year are attributed to obesity and even a moderate weight excess (10-20 pounds for the average person) increases the risk of early death; particularly in adults aged 30-64. Even people who do not appear visually obese may actually be obese when their body composition is tested. Oxygen Magazine will describe this fat-loss journey in their "Works in Progress" section which highlights people who have made significant fitness progress in their lives.
Pamela is available for in-home personal training to women in the Dallas Metroplex and through customized online training programs to everyone. You can get more information by visiting her website at www.pamelablackburn.com or by emailing your questions to info@pamelablackburn.com.
