Vytra Health Plans Offers Wellness Seminars - Chats In January, February
Vytra Health Plans announces three wellness seminars at their headquarters in Melville, as well as one online chat, scheduled for January and February 2005.
Melville, NY (PRWEB) December 27, 2004 -- Vytra Health Plans announces three wellness seminars at their headquarters in Melville, as well as one online chat, scheduled for January and February 2005. The sessions, free and open to the community, will be led by experts who will address questions on the following health and wellness issues:
- Smoking Cessation: Alice Tully, Vytras Health Education Manager and a certified health education specialist, will lead a five-week smoking cessation workshop designed to help smokers quit for good. Tuesdays, January 18, 25, and February 1, 8, and 15, 2005, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Stress Management: Sandy Sarcona, who conducts stress management workshops at C.W. Post, will present this seminar designed to help identify personal behavior patterns and explain techniques to reduce and manage stress. Thursday, January 27, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Nutrition and Exercise: Cathy Stratton, registered dietitian, will share her expertise about eating healthfully and exercising properly. Tuesday, February 8, 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Dealing with Depression: Live, online chat with Jolie Pataki, M.D., Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Pataki will provide information about diagnosis of depression and the many successful treatments available. Thursday, February 24, Noon to 1 p.m.
