Mom-Blog Writer to be Interviewed by New York Newsday

Gina Badalaty, writer of Mom-Blog.com, will be featured in the January 3rd, 2005, edition of New York Newsday.

(PRWEB) December 25, 2004 -- Gina Badalaty, editor of Parents Time Out (PTO) Audiozine and owner of www.ArtByTech.com Web Design, will be featured in the January 3rd, 2005, edition of New York Newsday.

Newsday interviewed Ms. Badalaty, writer of www.Mom-Blog.com, for an article on baby blogs. Blogs, a type of online journal that can easily be updated, have become popular over the last few years, and a number of moms and dads are keeping their own blog about the ups and downs of parenting.

Ms. Badalaty, who has a two year old daughter, has been blogging since September, 2003. It started as a way to keep my friends and family updated on my daughter," she says, and ended up as a way to stay sane!" Ms. Badalaty began by keeping an online pregnancy journal, and then began blogging as a way to cope with her daughters Mosaic Down syndrome.

Keeping a blog has helped Ms. Badalaty to meet and converse with first time parents, parents of special needs children, and work at home moms. Sharing common experiences helped her to discover that she was not alone and the companionship has helped her cope. Being a mom, you learn, is like juggling a lot of balls at the same time," she says. Its comforting to learn that everyone feels that way, and its great to have lots of tips and encouragement from all my new-found friends."

Ms. Badalaty is also managing editor of Parents Time Out (PTO) audio magazine, published by www.YourVoice.biz. She is very active in the Mom-Work-At-Home movement and has plans to start and advocate organization in 2005 to help moms that work out of the home.
