One Email Needed For An American Soldier on Christmas Day

Every American is being asked to send one email for an American soldier on Christmas Day.

(PRWEB) December 25, 2004 -- While most of America will be celebrating this Christmas with their family and friends opening presents, most of our American troops will be fighting to protect our freedoms around the world. Now a new campaign Dear American Soldiers" is asking all Americans to take five minutes out during their present opening celebration to go to their computers, sit down and send one email of appreciation to an American soldier.

Each email, no matter how long or short, will be collected during the next few weeks and distributed to thousands of soldiers stationed abroad and those currently fighting in the war on terrorism in Afghanistan and Iraq. Emails can be sent directly from your computer to Letters@DearAmericanSoldiers.com or at the exclusive website for the Dear American Soldiers" campaign at: www.DearAmericanSoldiers.com

These men and women are away from their families, away from their friends and have very little hope of reaching home this Holiday season. If one email can make a difference I think America owes it them" states Alex Dougal, organizer of www.DearAmericanSoldiers.com.
