Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) December 27, 2004 -- Tmhxone.com, one of the Internet's leading urban music sites, announced the nominees Monday for its Forth Annual T M H Honors. Voting will start on January 3rd, 2005 at tmhxone.com and the winners will be announced on January 31, 2005.
This year marks the forth year T M H Entertainment has presented T M H Honors to its visitors. Over fifty artists received nominations. They were led by Usher who garnered ten nods including Favorite Ballad of the Year ("Burn"), R&B Album of the Year ("Confessions") and Best Dressed Male of 2004. Lil Jon, Kanye West, Anthony Hamilton, Juvenile and R. Kelly each garnered multiple nominations. A complete list of nominees can be found at tmhxone.com.
Usher was without a doubt the man this year, so it's no surprise to see him with so many nominations," T M H Entertainment's CEO Aries Dendy said. "To add to that, I think with Usher and Alicia we're always going to get hits," T M H Entertainment's President Dezell Moore said, adding "I just think it's great that artists like Anthony Hamilton, Twista, Terror Squad & T.I. all enjoyed success this year as well."
Music fans who log onto tmhxone.com from January 3, 2005 to January 17, 2005, will be able to vote, in over 20 categories, for their favorite R&B and Hip-Hop artists, as well as for their favorite record label, producer, and best video of the year. The winners are determined by the number of votes. "I expect with all of the hits this year, the voting will be much harder for our visitors unlike previous years," Moore said. "It's going to be very interesting to see who lands as the winners in all of the categories -- specially Artist of The Year, Favorite Ballad of The Year and Most Slept on CD of 2004."
Nominees were chosen from artists whose singles or albums were released from September 1, 2003 to September 31, 2004. For a full list of nominations visit: http://www.tmhxone.com/honors.html
