Missouri Artist Draws & Sings

Family of artists signs with Sony Records to produce gospel play.

(PRWEB) December 28, 2004 -- (Missouri) Artist, James Loveless, has been creating portraits using photographs of families where he did the portraits and his wife, Yvette Blaine-Loveless would frame the portraits.

Loveless designed packaging for many companies including Ralston Purina, Anheuser-Busch, Pizza Hut/KFC, CPI, American Optometric Association, North Star Magazine, Decor' Magazine, Art Affairs Magazine, Portfolio Gallery, and the West Side Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Ronald Bobo, pastor. James, a member for eight years and Yvette a member for the past five years, they both sing in the Praise Team.
   
This creativity has been fine for the past 35 years, but now with the rising diversity in businesses, he now creates art on cars and clothes. James has been the most sought after artist of his time, especially on the Internet. He can take a photograph of your great grand mother and put your children in a framed portrait together. It is really a wonderful gift item and serves as an anthology for families for years to come. The website has brought many customers from across the United States seeking his talents. He currently airbrushes on car hoods, motorcycles, leather jackets, blue jeans, boots, tennis and back drops. Recently, one of James' creations of Tupac on a car hood won four times in the Funk Master Flex Celebrity Car Shows.

James and been featured in several magazines and newspapers, including, St. Louis Magazine, October Gallery Paint Magazine, St. Louis Post-Dispatch Newspaper 2004 auction participant and St. Louis American Newspaper. James creates florals, landscapes and multi-cultural artwork, but his specialty is creating Black Religious Art; depicting Jesus and other biblical rembrants the way they are depicted in the bible; black! Trumpet Sound is a floral he completed and was accepted into a national competition in San Berdino, California, and he also creates illustrations for books, magazines and publishing companies.

His wife, Yvette is an abstract artist and has been an artist for eight years. She does creative digital abstracts which are featured at the website. Tre', Tammy and Courtney, are all artists as well and their work is featured at the homepage at the website and under the mini prints page.

James and Yvette auditioned and have been chosen to participate as a cast member of twenty other singers in a musical, gospel play recently signed by Sony Records and Sanctuary Productions called the Isle of Dreams. The play is scheduled to appear on Oprah, Jay Leno and Good Morning, America in spring 2005 where they will sing excerpts from the play. The play tells the story of John the Revelator; one of the disciples who wrote the last book of the bible, Revelation. The music was co-written by Michael O'Hara who was nominated for writing "Just Because" sung by Anita Baker.  Robert White Johnson also assisted with the writing many of the songs in the play.  Sanctuary Productions (Deke Arland), Sony Records (Matthew Knowles) and ASCAP are eager to have the play seen by the Queen of England and to perform the play for the troops in Iraq.

James also teaches art classe and proceeds are being raised to endow a scholarship at the University of Missouri-St. Louis where Yvette worked as a scholarship coordinator for seven years.
