Paperless Tax Returns - the Self-Select PIN
www.Taxhead.com and www.Latinoefile.com offer the IRS Self-Select PIN (Personal Identification Number). This allows taxpayers to electronically sign their e-filed tax return by selecting a five-digit PIN as their signature.
Santa Rosa, CA (PRWEB) December 31, 2004 -- www.Taxhead.com and www.Latinoefile.com offer the IRS Self-Select PIN (Personal Identification Number). This allows taxpayers to electronically sign their e-filed tax return by selecting a five-digit PIN as their signature. The five-digit PIN can be any five numbers except all zeros. To use the self-select PIN program, the taxpayer will need their original adjusted gross income (AGI) from their prior year (Tax Year 2003) tax return and their Date of Birth for verification purposes. It eliminates the requirement for Form 8453, U.S. Individual Income Tax Declaration for an IRS e-file Return, in most cases, making e-filing returns truly paperless for most taxpayers.
