Sight Speed Sets Sights on a World Class Russian Project
Sight Speed technology allows students in the United States in Florida and Texas, to interact with students in Turkey and Russia.
(PRWEB) December 30, 2004 -- After completing a video conference with School 1129 in Moscow, Russia using Sight Speed technology, Project Director, Michael Cunningham announced today that the Russian Sight Speed International Parliament Project was off to a complete success.
Cunningham," This is truly amazing! Nothing short of excellent!"
Cunningham explained that by using the power of communication, students all over the globe will learn the inner workings of democracy as they write legislation/resolutions. "Writing legislation and then learning how to argue merit of what they constructed is a skill that is not only marketable it is skill that promotes real leadership!" Cunningham explained.
Cunningham, "Taking local issues and realizing that local political stands in many cases is not a great position on the international basis. This project allows highly motivated students from all countries to argue against their peers over issues that they they student believe are important. This is truly an education that you can not find in a book."
With the help of Sight Speed technology, the member schools are working with each other as well as two United States Universities as they prepare for their final project this June- an International Parliament that will be hosted on Sight Speed.
Sight Speed technology allows schools with Apple computers to interface with schools that have P/C 's. This cross platform ability along with their excellent quality allows for the ability of educators all around the world to bring a world class education to their students.
