Holiday Cell Phones Benefit Junior Achievement of Southeast Michigan

Get a new cell phone for Christmas and dont know what to do with your used one? The Wireless Source of Bloomfield Hills and Secure Eco Shred in Farmington, have teamed up to recycle cell phones for free, with a donation payment being made to Junior Achievement of Southeast Michigan for each cell phone that gets collected.

Bloomfield Hills, MI (PRWEB) December 31, 2004 -- Get a new cell phone for Christmas and dont know what to do with your used one? The Wireless Source of Bloomfield Hills and Secure Eco Shred in Farmington, have teamed up to recycle cell phones for free, with a donation payment being made to Junior Achievement of Southeast Michigan for each cell phone that gets collected.

The Wireless Source and Secure Eco Shred are united in their efforts of preserving the environment and keeping unwanted materials out of our landfills. From now until January 7, 2005, used cell phones can be dropped off from 9:00 -- 5:00, each day, at the Secure Eco Shred facility at 33085 W. Nine Mile Road in Farmington. In addition, free holiday recycling is also offered for consumers to drop off holiday cards, gift boxes, wrapping paper, tissue paper and shipping boxes. Please note: Secure Eco Shred will be closed for the holiday on Friday, December 31.

The cell phone recycling event coincides with Automation Alleys 2005 Junior Achievement Challenge which will run throughout the year to benefit Junior Achievement of Southeast Michigan.
