Internet Talk Radio impacts the Work at Home Mom Community

technology and the internet takes a work at home Mom out of the home - Virtually. Mom produces and hosts an internet talk radio program from her home office.

Gaylord, MI (PRWEB) February 3, 2004 --Work at Home Mom Talk Radio (WAHM Talk Radio) has been "on the air" for three months and it has been very well received by internet based moms all over America, Canada and from as far away as Germany.

Internet Talk Show Host Kelly McCausey was suprised by the fast growth of the show's listenership. The show has had as many as 500 listeners in a week and averages around 200 weekly listeners since the holidays.

Kelly's guests have included Tracy Lyn Moland, the author of "Mom Management" (http://www.mommanagement.com) and Alice Seba, the owner of Internet Based Moms (http://www.internetbasedmoms.com). She has had other authors and a wide variety of work at home Mothers who have started their own businesses or are in business with a direct sales company. A recent addition to the show is a regular weekly parenting segment brought by syndicated newspaper columnist, Jodie Lynn. (http://www.parenttoparent.com)

They have covered topics like internet marketing, search engines, making decisions and networking. New Work at Home Moms are sometimes not very savvy about the internet and how to put it to work for them. Work at Home Mom Talk Radio seeks to bring them the best information and present it in language that a newcomer can understand.

The show is produced in McCausey's home office and broadcast via the internet 'on demand' so that Moms can listen when it fits into their schedule. The program is sponsored by other work at home business owners who receive air time to promote their own websites.

"It's a lot of work" McCausey says, "But It's a lot of fun too. I have met more inspiring women in this last three months than I have in my whole life. I can't wait to see where this goes from here."

Future plans include more multi-part tutorials from internet experts and more well known business minded Moms. The show is always seeking fun and enthusiastic guests. Moms with a home based business who would like to be on the show can visit the website and contact Kelly with their ideas.
