Todays Cheapest Intrastate Long Distance Rates Are Provided Via Convergence Technology.

Discount providers reselling for the larger carriers have always been a great source for the cheapest intrastate long distance rates but with convergence technology great in state rates can now be enjoyed by all.

Northampton, PA (PRWEB) February 11, 2004 --ProvideTechnology, LLC a Technology Services Broker is helping clients in all states find the cheapest intrastate long distance rates available today. The company offers direct dial (often called 1 plus) services for long-distance from approximately 12 providers but recently added one that is specifically geared to serving the client who makes a large amount of long-distance calls inside their own state.

When asked what makes this new provider so much different from other discount long-distance providers Jack Spirko, CEO of ProvideTechnology stated, "CogniState is a very unique service and the first of its kind on the mass market. To the user there is no difference between CogniState and typical services. The client simply picks up the phone and makes calls as he would with any provider but behind the scenes is where the magic happens. Unlike most resellers CogniState does not rely on a single underlying carrier but upon three. With this approach the client in Texas will automatically be routed on the best network for Texas where as the client in Pennsylvania will be routed onto the best network for rates in Pennsylvania. Again the client doesnt do anything special but simply picks up the phone and makes the call. With this approach we can provide the cheapest intrastate long distance rates available today to about 95% of the country".

The seemingly complicated form of convergence technology used by CogniState is really quite easy to understand. Like most discount providers CogniState is actually a reseller for better know providers (such as MCI and Sprint). Instead of paying a standard retail per minute rate like a typical customer, as a reseller they buy large blocks of time at a wholesale price and are then able to resell the service to a client at a price lower then larger providers typically do. This is a lot like a discount store such as Walmart buying hundreds of thousands of Wilson Basket Balls and selling them to the public for less then a customer would pay Wilson through a direct purchase. This simple buy wholesale and sell retail model has been the way discount providers have done business since the first days of the Telecommunication Deregulation Act of 1996.

However in most instances the provider relies on a single large carrier and while this generally allows the reseller to provide great state-to-state rates, the intrastate rates will vary from excellent to awful depending on the combination of the primary carrier and the state the end client lives in. What makes Cognistate different is the fact that they actually buy blocks of time from three very large carriers (Sprint, MCI and Global Crossing) and provide the best provider for instate calling to the client based on their state of residence. To the client this is all 100% invisible until they receive a phone bill that is saving them typically 65% over the national average for instate long distance rates. CogniState is currently available from ProvideTechnology at http://providetechnology.com/cogstate.htm

When asked how one could be sure that CogniState was the best service provider for their needs Mr. Spirko concluded, "While most clients would be best served by this service it is possible that some clients would be better served by another provider. We also should consider that no two clients are exactly alike so we do often recommend that clients visit http://cutthatbill.com to insure they make the best choice. CutThatBill.com will calculate the best provider on an individual basis in just seconds and of course we encourage clients to contact us directly as well. While many clients want to do business 100% over the internet today and we are happy to serve them that way we have never lost site of the human touch and have a friendly staff ready to handle questions by phone or email at anytime. We feel it is that personal touch that really make us different from all the other companies out there today in the long distance and technology industries".
