Olives Replaced By Pickles With The Introduction Of New Russian Vodka, Ivanabitch

A new Russian vodka, named Ivanabitch, and branded as "vodka with attitude," has been launched into the U.S. market by International Spirits, LLC, based in Jacksonville, Florida. The signature drink is straight vodka served with a dill pickle, a traditional way of consuming vodka in Russia.

Jacksonville, FL (PRWEB) February 21, 2004 -–Even though the Cold War has thawed, cocktails are being iced down and olives are being replaced by pickles with the introduction of a new premium imported vodka, originated in Russia, called Ivanabitch.

International Spirits, LLC, based in Jacksonville, Florida, is introducing its first line of white spirits featuring a smooth, triple-filtered vodka that is being launched this week in the North Florida market.

Branded as vodka with attitude," Ivanabitch is being marketed in bars and restaurants under its signature drink, the Ivanabitch Cocktail, vodka poured over ice and topped with a large dill pickle. Were not only introducing a premium vodka to the U.S. market, but were also introducing the Russian way of drinking vodka to Americans," reported Sergei Karakai, product manager for International Spirits. Russians drink their vodka while snacking on large dill pickles. Its a great flavor sensation."

Made from spring water, Ivanabitch is distilled and then filtered three times using the original Russian birch charcoal process. Ivanabitch uses all natural ingredients and small batch processes.

While the vodka recipe is derived from Russian distillers, Ivanabitch is actually produced in Holland and imported into the U.S. Many popular bars and restaurants throughout North Florida will be serving Ivanabitch while most major liquor retailers will offer 750ml bottles and miniatures. The 750ml bottle retails for around $20. One liter bottles will be available during the second quarter of 2004.
Additional information is available at www.ivanabitch.com.
