GradPAC Announces Its Endorsement of Geoff Davis to Represent Kentucky's 4th Congressional District

West Point graduate, former Army Ranger and successful businessman Geoff Davis has received GradPAC's endorsement to represent Kentucky's 4th Congressional District.

Washington, DC (PRWEB) March 5, 2004 -– GradPAC Chairman Shawn N. Olds announced the endorsement of West Point graduate, former Army Ranger and successful businessman Geoff Davis to represent Kentuckys 4th Congressional District today.

Recently, GradPACs executive board voted unanimously to endorse Mr. Davis candidacy for the upcoming May 18th Republican primary election in Kentucky.

Geoff is the quintessential American success story: a determined son of a single mother, graduate of West Point, Army Ranger and 82nd Airborne Assault helicopter pilot, remarkable entrepreneur and father of six children," said Chairman Olds. He is uniquely qualified to represent the citizens of Kentuckys 4th Congressional District and has devoted his entire adult life to selflessly serving others."

Olds continued, not only does Geoff understand the educational, economic and other communal needs of his district, he also has a keen understanding of the paramount issues of national defense and national security having served his nation in uniform at home and abroad. Clearly, Geoff Davis is the best choice to represent northern Kentucky in the U.S. House of Representatives."

Davis graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1981. While at West Point, he focused on National Security, Public Policy and International Affairs studies among other areas of concentration. Shortly after graduation, Davis completed the grueling and challenging Army Ranger training at Fort Benning, Georgia. Later, he served as an Assault Helicopter Flight Commander in the 82nd Airborne Division. During his accomplished military career, he also served as the Director of U.S. Army Aviation Operations for Peace Enforcement between Israel and Egypt.

In 1992, Davis founded Capstone, Inc., a highly regarded manufacturing consulting firm specializing in lean manufacturing and high technology systems integration. His company has been recognized for its efforts in being a hands-on" firm with the visionary leadership to build highly successful teamwork from the boardroom to the shop floor.

Davis is a member of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executive Advisory Board and a volunteer chaplain with the Kentucky Corrections Cabinet. Additionally, he is a member of the board of the regional Court-Appointed Special Advocate Association (CASA), which provides assistance to children who are at risk due to abuse, neglect or dependency issues. Davis also volunteers his time as a tutor and advocate for inner-city schools and a community center in his district. He is a member of the American Legion, 82nd Airborne Association, West Point Association of Graduates and a life member of the National Rifle Association.

Davis and his wife Pat currently reside in Hebron, Kentucky.
