Mount Rose Ravioli was acquired by Chef Gusto LLC.

In March 2004 Mount Rose Ravioli was purchased by Chef Gusto LLC and will continue to operate in Farmingdale NY.

MOONACHIE, NJ (PRWEB) March 7, 2004 --On March 3, 2004, President Frank LaGalia announced that Chef Gusto LLC, an affiliate of NFB Foodworks LLC, completed its acquisition of the Mount Rose brand frozen pasta business of Farmingdale, Long Island. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

NFB Foodworks LLC will continue the production of Chef Gusto® and Bagel Smackers® products at its Moonachie plant facility. Chef Gusto LLC will continue its production of high quality meat and cheese tortellini and ravioli under the Chef Gusto® and Mount Rose brands at the Farmingdale facility. In addition, Chef Gusto LLC will be expanding direct sales of product to the retail food industry while it continues its food service manufacturing business.

Mount Rose Ravioli & Macaroni Co., Inc. was founded over a half century ago in Brooklyn, New York and later relocated its operations to Farmingdale. Members of its founding family, including Anthony and Tom Minuto, remain actively involved in the business and have acquired significant equity interests in the new Chef Gusto LLC enterprise.
