(PRWEB) March 12, 2004 --Corey Andrew joins the 64th Annual IBS Conference in New York City in a panel discussion on music publicity, marketing and promotion guides in the digital age. Corey was invited to speak at the request of WUSB (University of Stony Brook, LI) radio host and conference affiliate Jill Morrison. Jill recently interviewed Corey on the air to discuss his debut album which has now become a favorite at WUSB. Upon learning of Coreys success in marketing and promoting his debut album Were All Stars and his background in free lance copywriting for Sony Music Advertising; Jill knew Corey Andrew would make an excellent addition to the panel.

Opening officially on Friday, March 12th the IBS Conference will cover a wide range of radio and broadcast related topics. Corey Andrew will specifically be discussing his personal and professional experiences in music marketing drawing examples from his background as Xcalibur Records publicist, and freelance copywriter in advertising and music. As a songwriter and recording artist on his self co-owned record label Xcalibur Records, Corey Andrew is currently touring the Northeast promoting his eclectic soul influenced rock album debut, We're All Stars.

The Intercollegiate Broadcasting System presents conventions in four major US cities per year including Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles & New York. The events bring together the nations top program university and non commercial radio Program Directors and on air personalities. Traditionally the conferences have created great opportunities for developing mentoring relationships between stations, discovering new musical talent through showcases at local music venues, networking cocktail socials, and tours of participating New York City radio stations.

Im looking forward to the opportunity to give my insight on independent music marketing, Corey explains. In a nutshell its all about finding any and every avenue to create a buzz about your project and there are some great stories along the way".
