Small Town Waitress Gets Book Contract after Visit from Beyond
ROMANCING THE SOUL—TRUE STORIES OF SOUL MATES FROM AROUND THE WORLD AND BEYOND, Dorothy Thompsons first anthology, is a book of soul mate stories from all over the world which was inspired by a visit from her soul mate from the beyond.
Eastern Shore, VA (PRWEB) March 22, 2004 --Dorothy Thompson, a waitress from Virginia, had given up on love after her soul mate died the same week terrorists invaded America on 9/11. It wasnt until after she received a visit from the beyond that not only changed her views on the afterlife, but resulted in a book contract from Zumaya Publications, a small press publisher.
I never knew how much I believed in the afterlife until my soul mate died and appeared to me in a dream," she recounts. From the ‘other side, he told me to not only tell the world our story, but to tell the world of other soul mates stories.
He even named the book, calling it ROMANCING THE SOUL. I never would have thought of that in a million years. I owe this book to him."
ROMANCING THE SOUL—TRUE STORIES OF SOUL MATES FROM AROUND THE WORLD AND BEYOND, a collection of soul mate stories from people of different walks of life, will be published by Zumaya Publications in the summer of 2004 and is being touted as the Chicken Soup of the New Age."
Its amazing how many people dont believe they even have a soul mate," she continues. In doing research for the book, I have come to realize that a lot of people have given up on finding their soul mate and I find that disheartening. What they dont realize is that they have many soul mates and that each one comes into their life for a reason. Im on a mission to help others discover their soul mates and in so doing, discover themselves, too."
I wont quit my job just yet," she says, laughing. But, hopefully, one day Ill be able to say ‘kiss my grits all the way to the bank."
