Parent to School Communication is Paramount for PACE and F2F GROUP

F2F GROUP Pushes PACE in the NorthEast. Weston, MA School District Adopts Crisis Communications Technology to Keep Students Safe. EnvoyWorldWide Sponsors Implementation of PACE Interactive Notification System to Enable School Districts to Distribute Urgent Messages to Parent and Community Members Instantaneously

Bedford, MA (PRWEB) March 25, 2004 -– EnvoyWorldWide Inc., a provider of enterprise notification services, today announced that it is sponsoring the Weston, MA school districts implementation of a communications system to streamline crisis management throughout the district. The implementation of PACE, a school-to-parent notification system built for the K-12 market, will enable Weston school officials to augment its emergency response program by disseminating thousands of urgent messages to the districts crisis-contact database instantaneously.

The PACE system provides Weston with an easy-to-use tool that enables educators to immediately distribute time-sensitive information about security and crisis-related issues to the parents and emergency contacts of the school districts students. When suspicious incidents or security-related issues arise, the principals and educators of the respective schools in the district will be able to immediately record and broadcast a message that is sent to each individual students emergency contacts, alerting the community of the crisis. The system is now in use by more than 1,250 K-12 school systems nationwide servicing 500,000 family connections per month in over 25 states.

PACE is an integrated community of K-12 Schools, local families and corporate sponsors. The PACE system, which is powered by technology from Bedford, Mass. based EnvoyWorldWide, has been used in a number of high-profile cases to help find lost children, alert parents of potential child abductions or school security situations, and for non-crisis situations such as school event reminders. Implementation of the PACE system is typically underwritten by a corporate sponsor.

PACE provides our school district with an easy-to-use tool to streamline our crisis management process and to help keep our school community informed on a real-time basis of emergency

situations that may arise at one of our schools," said Alan Oliff, superintendent of the Weston, Mass. school district. Traditionally, weve used multiple systems, including auto-dialers and manual outreach to try to advise parents of situations that arise at our schools. PACE will enable us to remove these processes and empower our leadership personnel to communicate with parents about crisis situations on a more effective basis."

PACE will be implemented and managed for the Weston school district by the F2FGroup, a leading business and technology process consultancy and strategic sales partner of PACE. F2F Group has been successful in getting similar programs up and running in Braintree, Acton-Boxborough and many other school districts as part of PACEs East Coast expansion effort. The solution does not require additional hardware or software be purchased or installed by the schools. Through the management process, the system will also validate and update students emergency contact information after each message is broadcast; streamlining the manual tasks normally associated the schools crisis management process.

Weston is the latest school district across the country to leverage the PACE platform to enhance emergency preparedness in our schools," said John Gamba, co-founder and CEO of PACE. By removing the hardware and software requirements of traditional systems and combining the power and persuasiveness of the Internet and telephone, PACE lessens the financial burden associated with communications on a community-wide basis facing school districts like Weston."

Leveraging EnvoyWorldWides enterprise notification platform, PACE is the first voice-driven customer relationship management tool specifically designed to handle the unique situations that arise at K-12 schools. PACE provides schools with a user-friendly and effective system for schools to enhance school initiatives aimed at increasing levels of school preparedness and student safety.
