SchmartBOARD Announces 8"x8" Through-Hole Board
SchmartBOARD Announces 8"x8" Through-Hole Board The new 8"x8" board is stuffed with an amazing 12,479 holes!
Fremont, CA (PRWEB) March 27, 2004 --SchmartBOARD, a company that develops Electronic Circuit Building BlocksTM , has released a new large through-hole Schmartboard. The board is in response to customer feedback asking for a larger through-hole device. Like all Schmartboards, this board physically connects to other Schmartboards so that one can create circuits in a manner similar to using building blocks. Because the board is pre-traced, the need for wire jumpers is significantly reduced.
The new 8"x8" board is stuffed with an amazing 12,479 holes! This board has support s 100% of through-hole components with the 0.1" spacing pitch. 40 ground holes are connected to a copper plane on the bottom side. Components such as capacitors, resistors, diodes, inductors, crystals, headers, jumpers, fuses, transistors, voltage regulators, DIP IC 70 pins or sockets, DIP switches, relay, RJ11, RJ45 connector...etc. are all supported.
The new product will be ship the first week of April on the Schmartboard website or at Schmartboards distribution partners. The suggested retail price is $49.95
