Al Franken Doesn't Make the Cut and Shops for a Better Deal
Although there is no comment from the Franken camp, apparently commentator and funnyman Al Franken has started his own talk show in retaliation for being replaced in the 2004 deck of Politicards. Franken was the Ace of Hearts in the Politicards 2000 election deck, but has been replaced by octogenarian Fritz Hollings, the retiring and distinguished Senator from South Carolina, in the current 2004 deck. The senior statesman can be seen dancing his final soft-shoe performance in this latest edition of Politicards, and Franken should not begrudge the honorable Mr. Hollings a position in what has once again become this election years most popular and humorous collectible.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 29, 2004 -- The list of pundits ripe for roasting in Politicards 2004 includes Ann Coulter, Michael Moore, Bill OReilly, William Kristol, and Pat Buchanan. Rumor has it that Al Franken was miffed at missing the cut for 2004. He was depicted in Politicards Election 2000 deck playing a carnival Whack-A-Mole” game and pounding on Rush Limbaughs head. But he will apparently have the chance to do it on the airwaves -- for real -- with his soon-to-debut radio talk show. Dont worry, Al, youll have a shot at the 2008 deck if you survive!
