The latest album by award-winning electronic-pop performer The G-Man is the first CD nominated by the 2004 Los Angeles Music Awards. "The Platinum Age of the Remix" by The G-Man is now in the running for Electronica Album of the Year.

***Matt Forger***
Best-known for his recording engineering work for Michael Jackson (including the "Off the Wall," "Thriller," "Dangerous," "Bad," "Blood on the Dance Floor," and "History" albums), Forger has worked with Giorgio Moroder, Keith Forsey, Harold Faltermeyer, George Duke, Quincy Jones, Rod Temperton, Bruce Swedien, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Eddie Van Halen, Phil Ramone, David Foster, Donna Summer, James Ingram and Lena Horne. Forger has also provided his sonic expertise to award-winning film directors Steven Spielberg, John Landis, George Lucas and Francis Ford Coppola.

The mysterious and ultra-underground F. Troy is a member of Mortal Loom, the top-selling electronic band that is often compared to Chris & Cosey, BT, Coil, Vapourspace, Yello, and The Art Of Noise. As the leader and founder of the famed DJ team known as The Allianz, DJ Insane plays throughout the EU from his home base in The Hague. DJ Insane took a remix of a G-Man song all the way to #5 on a European dance chart.
***RD (Random Distribution)***
RD, whose real name is Serge Minko, is one of the most-respected creators of trance and electronic music in Russia. He took a remix of a G-Man song up to the #1 position on a Russian electronic music chart.
***William Morosi***
The classically-trained Morosi moved into jazz early in his career, then mixed both approaches in an album released in Japan. He takes listeners through the realms of impressionism, serialism, funk and jazz. In his remixes of G-Man songs, his style has been called "George Duke on acid."
Scott G, who records under the name The G-Man, began as a maker of experimental films (he has had his work screened at Cannes and the San Francisco International Film Festival.) He has two books published under the pen name of Gerald Laurence and has been a music writer for the Immedia Wire Service since 1991 and for MusicDish since 2003.
Mr. G also owns a commercial production company, G-Man Music & Radical Radio, where he writes and produces radio spots and music for both radio and TV commercials.
He has two albums on Delvian Records, "Electro Bop" and "Grin Groove," with a third album, "Sonic Tonic," already recorded and ready for release. Songs on "The Platinum Age of the Remix" were taken from all three albums by The G-Man.
With his music being played in clubs and on college radio stations around the globe, The G-Man is creator of a new genre of beat-oriented music called grin groove. Songs by The G-Man have been called "Moby meets Bowie" (by producer Pete Anderson), "Moby meets Devo" (by tv producer Paul Rich), and "The rhythm of machines with melodies of the heart" (by music writer Janis Amy.)
