(PRWEB) April 17, 2004 --Operating on a Restricted Service Licence issued by OFCOM, which allows the station to broadcast for 28 days. Listeners will be able to hear the programmes on 105.4 FM or on the internet via the stations website http://www.revivalradio.org.uk
Broadcasting from their base in Cumbernauld, the Revival Radio signal will be heard over much of Lanarkshire, parts of Dumbartonshire and Renfrewshire, as well as the City of Glasgow.
Revival Radio has been broadcasting since 1996 and is Scotland's premier Christian radio station with a vision to establish full-time Christian broadcasting in Scotland.
The station's programmes are live from 7am to midnight every day and all programming is produced locally. An overnight service is provided in conjunction with United Christian Broadcasters, the UK's leading Christian broadcasting service.
With a distinctly Scottish voice, Revival Radio reflects the independent nature of Scotland's churches and supports their vital role in Scotland's communities today.
The station carries a varied programme content with daily morning, lunchtime and drivetime anchor programmes providing a mixture of music and talk. Evenings bring a variety of music choice from Southern Gospel and Christian Country music to the very latest in Contemporary Christian Music.
Although the station's ethos is always Christian, an increasing amount of it's talk content is community focussed, bringing programming that is of interest to people of all walks of life.
The station's music output is primarily Christian, from classical to contemporary, and provides an outlet for an area of the music industry which is largely unknown in the United Kingdom. Music stores report an increase in the sales of contemporary Christian music every time Revival Radio comes on air.
