Caryn B Davis showcases fine art photographs at Century 21 Heritage Company in Chester, CT
Deep River based photographer, Caryn B. Davis is exhibiting her fine art abstract and travel photography at the real estate offices of Century 21 Heritage Company located at One Main Street in Chester.
(PRWEB) April 17, 2004 --There will be a wine and cheese reception for the artist from 5-8pm on May 7th, as part of Chesters 13th Annual May Days Night and Shop Stroll. This on-going solo exhibition can also be viewed during regular business hours at the Century 21 office in Chester from 9am-5pm Monday through Friday, and from 10am-2pm on Saturday and Sunday, or online at www.cbdphotography.com.
Davis reflects on the opportunity to show her work at Century 21. This is a rare and wonderful opportunity for an artist. I have complete control over the selection of images I choose to exhibit, and can continue to introduce new work as I create it", says Davis.
In June of 2004, Davis is displaying yet another body of work at Sadelier for the Home, a custom furniture and handmade furnishings store located at 69 West Wooster Street in Danbury, CT, 203-743-4830. Store hours are as follows: Tuesday through Saturday 11am-5pm, Friday until 6pm, or Monday by appointment.
In March, Davis concluded a solo exhibition of fine art photographs from her summer sojourn to Nova Scotia, which were on exhibit at the Zwart-Ludeman Gallery in Chester, CT.
Davis, a fine art, editorial and documentary photographer, has recently expanded her business to include fine art portraiture of babies, families and children. Davis images have appeared in many leading national and international magazines including Yankee Magazine, Connecticut Magazine, Good Old Boat, New Zealand Geographic, Skipping Stones, Native Peoples Magazine, TNT Magazine, In These Times, and she has many exhibitions to her credit. Her recent photo essay of fine art portraits documenting the New Haven Goth scene appeared on the July/August 2003 cover of Zoom International, a high caliber fine arts publication that is distributed in 6 countries. Currently, Davis is working a new photo essay that explores the growing population of gay and lesbian parents who are forging new pathways in parenting.
