Washington, DC – May 3, 2004 – The Human Capital Institute (HCI), a not-for-profit think tank and educator, announces the participation of Taleo (formerly Recruitsoft) as a founding sponsor. Taleo will fund research and development of the HCI Learning Tracks Global Talent Management," Assessment, Selection and Hiring Strategies," and Contingent Workforce Management."

Progressive organizations like Taleo and its focus on workforce logistics are vital partners for the success of HCI. The three tracks each deal with optimizing how organizations acquire and manage talent – with the management tracks addressing specific workforce groups. A thought leadership panel, comprised of industry analysts and practitioners, will be assembled for each track to begin work in outlining deliverables.

The Institute has delineated 22 disciplines that apply to the practice of human capital management. The defined learning tracks seek to specifically identify, forecast and address key issues in their topic areas, and will result in recommendations of best practices and technological solutions delivered to Institute members. A thought leadership panel is convened, and conclusive whitepapers, webinars, HCI member briefings and related materials will be produced, for each track.
