In 2004, she resigned from a corporate marketing position at AIM Investments, Inc., a Houston-based mutual fund and financial services company, to form Ross Theadore Group.
As a tenured member of retail marketing, and compliance officer, she trained new sales staff, performed compliance reviews on various forms of public and financial advisor marketing collateral, and co-managed and planned the redesign of the legal and compliance Intranet site. She also created and successfully implemented a project management system for quarterly CD-ROM production and proactively developed plans to manage the production of collateral for major marketing campaigns. She also conducted statistical analysis on department workflow to align resources with corporate goals and objectives.
Mrs. Jones was also responsible for establishing positive relationships with key AIM personnel, including marketing research and analysis, product management, print communications, portfolio management and sales departments. In addition, she managed, produced and edited various market commentary audio and web-video projects. Her multi-media skills also include writing, editing and publishing Internet content. Her technical writing experience includes, creating department procedure manuals, style guides, employee training manuals and project management documents.
Prior to her position at AIM Investments, Inc., Jones worked with Ernst & Youngs senior marketing management in a business development capacity. She assisted the account management team by creating presentations, responding to requests for proposals and providing direction to graphic designers. She also served as Assistant Editor and Account Manager for Chambers Enterprises, Inc., a regional publications distributor and book publisher. In this position, she was responsible for feature selection and story development. Additional responsibilities included public relations and strategic marketing planning and analysis.
Monneke is a proud wife and mother of two adorable boys, ages 2 and 10. She enjoys reading and writing and is an active member of the Business & Professional Womens Organization and the Academy of Marketing Science.
