Invores Systems, Inc. Receives 2004 Long Island Software Award for its EXpress2.0 Software Platform

EXpress2.0, the first SIP/VoIP software platform for telephone based customer self-service applications, received a LISA Top Software Product Award from LISTnet, the Long Island Software & Technology Network.

LONG ISLAND, NY (PRWEB) May 7, 2004 -– Invores Systems, Inc. received a LISA Top Software Product Award yesterday evening for its EXpress2.0 software platform. EXpress2.0 is the first VoIP/SIP software platform that uses speech recognition to enable companies to leverage their web-based business logic by turning it into applications that people can use from any telephone. EXpress2.0 applications simulate live" conversations at a fraction of the cost of the real thing without sacrificing service.

The Long Island Software & Technology Network sponsors the LISA Top Software Product Awards to promote the strength and diversity of Long Islands software industry, and to stimulate creative interaction among those engaged in software development and application on Long Island.

We were extremely proud to have had EXpress2.0 showcased at the LISA awards. The press is full of articles about VoIP, when and how businesses of all sizes are going to be able to take advantage of its benefits. This is where EXpress2.0 comes in because it represents a great blending of a critical business application – the automation of incoming customer and prospect phone calls – with the latest in VoIP technology. These types of VoIP solutions are the wave of the future, and it is gratifying to see our vision with EXpress2.0 recognized," commented Tom Multer, President and CEO of Invores after accepting the award.

The 2004 Long Island Software Awards sponsors included CISCO Systems, Microsoft Corporation, Symbol Technologies, Computer Associates and Stonybrook University.

EXpress2.0 runs in a Windows environment, has a VoiceXML2.0 application development environment and uses speech technology software from Scansoft SpeechWorks to simulate real" conversations.
