Glue Steps it up to Make it Happen for Athletes

Glue Foundation, non-profit faith based initiative, is hosting a series of Workshops for middle school and high school athletes. The first workshop to kick off the summer is May 23, 2004 at the Alonzo F. Herndon community center in Atlanta, GA. Event will feature celebrity entertainment, professional athletes, corporate volunteers and many influential leaders in the athletic community.

(PRWEB) May 16, 2004 -- Join other student-athletes, coaches, college and professional athletic program leaders and the members of GLUE Team for Stepping It Up To Make It Happen" on Sunday May 23rd beginning at 3:00PM. Stepping It Up" is the first of three new, exciting workshops designed to expose invitees to various skills and resources in preparation for college-level program participation. This workshop is sponsored by the Atlanta-based Russell Corporation, and confirmed workshop modules include (but are not limited to) NCAA Guidelines and Regulations, Marketing Yourself to Colleges as a Student-Athlete, Study Skills, and Financial Literacy. Also featuring Gospel recording artist, Dana Divine, performing her hit single, Gospel Slide." This event will be held at the Alonzo F. Founded in 2003, GLUE, which is an acronym for Giving Love Unites Everyone, is a relatively new organization that is designed to work with evolving middle school and high school student-athletes as they pursue academic and athletic excellence. After spending over 15 years in corporate America, Rishal Stanciel founded GLUE as a non-profit organization to reach todays youth with a life transforming message.
