June 2004 Weather Outlook

June temperatures will trend close to normal levels. The coastal west and areas east of the Plains will be somewhat drier than usual in June.

Columbia, MO May 18, 2004 -- Dynamic Predictables releases to the public today its May 2004 mean monthly outlooks of temperature and precipitation for all climate divisions of the United States. Dynamic Predictables forecast categories include: Near Average, Above Average or Below Average temperature and precipitation. No division is designated EC" or climatological," that is, having an equal likelihood of normal, above normal or below normal, in effect, no forecast. Dynamic Predictables suite of dynamic computer algorithms is physics based and not dependant upon sea surface temperature patterns or any other trendy environmental anomaly.

The forecasts should be useful to agriculture, construction, distribution and energy interests. The product released to the public has been derived from one of the basic suite of proprietary algorithms developed by Dynamic Predictables and the output will be available after the defined date on their web site, www.dynamicpredictables.com .

DESCRIPTIVE TEMPERATURES PARAGRAPH: For the most part, June 2004 temperatures will be close to seasonal levels. There will be some tendency for warmth up the plains. Only the southwest will average toward the cooler side of normal.

DESCRIPTIVE PRECIPITATION PARAGRAPH: June 2004 precipitation will be heavier than usual from Arizona and New Mexico up the Central Rockies and into the Central Plains. The coastal west and most areas east of the Plains will trend toward the dry side of normal.

A state-by-state text outlook as well as a graphic depiction of the predictions are available at the Dynamic Predictables web site.
