Denis Karpeles, a notable consumer sales and marketing executive with demonstrated successes in building and managing multi-million dollar sales and distribution operations, has recently joined Syntax Groups as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, reporting to James Li, Chief Executive Officer. Karpeles is responsible for leading Syntax Groups in building an extensive distribution network of channel partners including online and traditional retailers throughout North America for the proliferation of Syntax Groups LCD and LCOS TVs, notebook PCs, DVD players, wireless networking accessories, among other consumer electronics products. Bringing over 29 years of sales and marketing experience, Karpeles has developed, trained and managed national sales teams, branded electronic products manufactured in Asia, and sold products through major online retailers, catalogues and distributors in the U.S.
Pattie Adams, a veteran high technology corporate marketing and communications professional, joins Syntax Groups as Vice President of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations, reporting to Jaime Saavedra, President. Ms. Adams is chartered with leading all aspects of Syntax Groups global communications program including strategic public relations, investor relations and marketing communications, Web presence and advertising, and will serve as the companys spokesperson. Joining Syntax Groups from DoubleSight Displays, where she held the position of Vice President of Corporate and Marketing Communications, Ms. Adams has directed visibility, leadership and product brand image campaigns for private and publicly-held companies including eMachines, Novell, Mitsubishi Electronics and Teradata/NRC. She holds a bachelors degree in Public Relations from San Jose State University.
