Ronald Smith has been named Vice President of Enterprise Financial Solutions. In this position, Ron will manage the marketing and implementation of enterprise financial management solutions to Federal government departments and agencies. Kevin J. Karton has been named Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. As head of SYSTALEXs corporate operations, Kevin will manage the companys internal financial and business operations as it continues to grow and expand.

Rockville, MD (PRWEB) May 24, 2004 -- Kevin is a former Director and CFO of Futron Corporation. Kevin joins SYSTALEX with more than 24 years of experience in the IT and aerospace sector. Prior to joining Futron, Kevin spent twelve years with Computer Technology Associates, (CTA) Inc. In addition to being Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of CTA Government Systems, Inc., he also served as CTAs Vice President of Business Operations and Corporate Controller.

Kevin is equipped with a strong background in government accounting and procurement.
He has an extensive background in strategic and business planning and has served as a consultant and board member for several rapidly growing government contractor information technology firms.

Kevins expertise in creating financial controls, maturing financial processes and managing all finance, accounting and contracts functions will make him an outstanding addition to the SYSTALEX executive team. Kevin has a Bachelors from the University of Delaware and a MBA from the University of Colorado.

Ron is the former Director, Federal Financial Management, at SAIC. Ron joins SYSTALEX with over 25 years of Federal financial management systems and Federal financial management operations experience. Prior to joining SAIC, Ron held several senior management positions at Grant Thornton LLP and ACS (formerly CDSI). Ron began his Federal financial management career at the Department of Housing and Urban Development and later became Director of Accounting at Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Ron has a strong background in the design, development, implementation and operations of Federal financial systems. He has supported the implementation and operations of new financial systems at over 15 different Federal departments and independent agencies during his career.

Rons functional and technical expertise in Federal financial systems and Federal financial operations will make him an outstanding addition to the SYSTALEX executive team. Ron has a Bachelors Degree in Finance from Lehigh University.
