Helsinki, Finland (PRWEB) May 21, 2004 -– GoodMood, a European leader in digital video and broadcasting over the Internet since 1997, is expanding its global Webcasting Service Partner (WSP) network by 25 companies which were enlisted last month during the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.
A forerunner in creating interactive moving images, GoodMood has garnered agreements for accreditation with an initial group of companies located throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. These companies, part of an elite group of 66 candidate companies, will immediately add the GoodMood WIP (Webcasting Information Platform) to their service offerings.
The WSP program is a global production network of experienced, independent video producers and production companies. Goodmood's flagship product, GoodMood WIP 3.1, bundles webcasting, web conferencing and desktop videoconferencing into one easy-to-use, professional software application suite, reflecting the way people truly need to communicate online. GoodMood trains, accredits and supports WSPs in implementing turnkey webcasting service packages, including the creation, delivery and publishing of video presentations and online events.
The response we received at NAB was overwhelming," said Ismo Laitakari, director of Webcasting Services for GoodMood. We couldnt have asked for a better launch, and the quality of the candidates surpassed our expectations. We are excited to have these top-level companies as part of our WSP network in the United States."
These companies will complete a training and accreditation process before they are granted GoodMood WSP status. The first North American training program will take place over the next month, with two online e-learning sessions via GoodMood WIP and a hands-on" training conference in June in Orange County, Calif.
GoodMoods U.S. marketing partner and Master" WSP, MarCom: Interactive, will build and support the GoodMood WSP network throughout North America. The California-based company will serve as the hub" for professional recruitment and training, as well as U.S. marketing, sales and webcast production support.
MarCom: Interactive was chosen as GoodMoods marketing partner due to its extensive experience in integrating interactive webcasting into marketing and corporate communications initiatives. Were extremely pleased to introduce this unique distribution model throughout North America on behalf of GoodMood and assist our WSPs in delivering such a quality communication suite to their clients," said Linda Zimmer, CEO of MarCom: Interactive. Weve been involved in webcasting since the mid-90s and have seen virtually every product – the GoodMood WIP all-in-one communication suite surpasses them all, hands down."
GoodMood WIP 3.1 integrates easy-to-use publishing tools so professional webcasts, with interactive features like slides, Q&A and polling, are fast and simple to create and publish to the web. With GoodMood WIP, advanced webcasting is easily incorporated into the traditional production environment, requiring only a single laptop computer for encoding. Viewers need only a computer, browser and Internet connection.
Unlike other webcasting platforms, GoodMood WIP combines multiple forms of online, interactive communication in one package and is backed by a network of video producers, technical support specialists and business communication consultants. Companies can conduct small-scale meetings or large events with thousands of participants; exchange ideas and data in real-time; and record presentations instantly for subsequent on-demand viewing.
GoodMood and its worldwide network of WSPs produce webcasts in China, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United States.
GoodMoods largest webcast to date included receiving sites in 54 countries, 8.000 concurrent viewers over an IP network, and featured several speakers from multiple geographic locations. GoodMood relied on its WSP network to support the massive production.
