Castle Rock Computing and Sensatronics have entered a strategic partnership to bring managed systems and managed networks together with the managed environment. Offering customers alerts and alarms for faults in Servers and server rooms.

Bow, NH (PRWEB) May 22, 2004 -- Castle Rock Computing, of Saratoga, California and Sensatronics have entered a strategic relationship adding IT Temperature Monitoring to the full suite of capabilities within the SNMPc Network Management product.

Castle Rock Computing and Sensatronics announced today that they have entered an agreement where future releases of the Castle Rock Computing Network Management Solution, SNMPc, will feature support for the Sensatronics range of environmental monitoring devices. By collaborating, the two companies plan to expand their extensive reach in the managed services market

Sensatronics environmental monitoring offers a new dimension to Castle Rock Computing customers with the capability to keep business or mission critical systems delivering value by avoiding environmental issues. Sensatronics monitors temperature, relative humidity, wetness and monitors Cryogenics with its really cold monitoring capabilities. This allows customers to add laboratory freezers to the list of managed products being observer and reported upon by SNMPc.

Castle Rock Computing and Sensatronics was a natural partnership due to both companies commitment to SNMP and open standards" explained Robert Chiras, VP Marketing for Sensatronics. Sensatronics is the dominant vendor in the server, network racks and rooms of our customers and we look forward to putting the solution under a single software application from Castle Rock Computing."

The Castle Rock Computing SNMPc Network Management System, introduced in 1989, was the first available SNMP manager for Windows. This easy-to-use tool has proven very popular and there are currently about 100,000 installed worldwide. SNMPc provides secure proactive network management for networks of any size and complexity.
