Oblicore is a provider of enterprise service level management applications for Global 2000 companies. Oblicore's CEO Yuval Boger named finalist of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award.
COLUMBIA, MD (PRWEB) May 24, 2004 -- Yuval Boger, Chief Executive Officer of Oblicore, Inc., was named a finalist by professional services firm Ernst & Young LLP for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2004 Awards in Maryland. Finalists will be selected in one of seven award categories announced at an awards banquet on June 17, 2004, at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore.
Yuval is a finalist because of his uniqueness as a successful serial entrepreneur, a strong manager of high growth companies and an inventor of patented technology. He has transformed Oblicore from start-up to high flying enterprise software company in the hot field of Service Level Management that enables global companies to significantly improve outsourced and internal operations. Over the past several months, Oblicore signed up over ten Global 500 customers, raised $9M in venture capital, strengthened its management team and released a new version of its industry leading product. Under Yuval's leadership, the company has grown revenue for six straight quarters and is on pace to significantly increase sales in 2004.
Prior to Oblicore, Yuval was Founder and CEO of Unwired Express which developed enterprise wireless applications for Fortune 500 companies. He co-invented the company's patent-pending wireless technology. Before Unwired, Yuval was General Manager at RADCOM [NASDAQ: RDCM], where he led the development and marketing of the company's flagship product that generated over $100M in sales. This product was instrumental in enabling Radcom to perform an Initial Public Offering (IPO). Yuval also co-founded Talia Technology, a medical diagnostic company that sells ophthalmic products worldwide.
A recipient of prestigious awards, Yuval is a graduate of the esteemed Israeli military Talpiyot program (akin to an "academic West Point"). He was an officer in the Israeli Defense Forces, where he led a software group in an elite technology unit. Yuval has a Master's of Physics at Tel-Aviv University and an Executive MBA at the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Maryland winners will be eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur Of The Year 2004 national program. Winners in several national categories, as well as the overall national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, Calif., in November, 2004.
