DScape Ships Custom E-learning to Maersk Sealand

DScape Interactive developed and launched rapid e-learning for Maersk Sealand's newly implemented e-mail system. Utilizing animation, narration and text, the program instructs 3,000 employees on critical functions of the new system in a step-by-step process.

JUNE 8, 2004 [HOPE, NJ] -- DScape Interactive, LLC, announced the successful launch and implementation of a custom e-learning program at Maersk Sealand. As part of the Maersk Training Centre on the companys intranet, this Flash-based, fully-narrated tutorial is effectively training Maersk Sealands 3,000 North American employees in the key features of their new internal communication system.

The program simulates the companys new e-mail system and walks learners through business-critical tasks in a clear, step-by-step manner. Each content screen includes fully-narrated, Flash-based animated and text-supported graphics sequences to provide an engaging learning experience for all employees.

Maersk chose DScape for this e-learning program based on past successes. "We had used DScape in the past with very positive results," said Gregory Bakalich, Director, Maersk, Inc. So when we were ready to roll out a new e-mail system enterprise-wide, we asked them to develop a custom online tutorial to train all employees. A key objective of this training was to help ensure a smooth migration to the new corporate communication system. While only giving DScape a very limited timeframe to work with, they managed to exceed our expectations. The result is an excellent educational tool that is getting rave reviews from our staff."
