Keeping up with Softball through a New Website for Players and Fans

Softball players and fans in North Dakota now have an online resource to keep up with their sport better at local, state, national and international levels. The North Dakota Amateur Softball Association (NDASA) recently launched its new website at http://www.ndasa.org.

GRAND FORKS, ND (PRWEB) June 20, 2004 -- North Dakota softball players and fans now have an online resource to keep up with their sport better at local, state, national and international levels.

The North Dakota Amateur Softball Association (NDASA) recently launched its new website at http://www.ndasa.org.

Jim Hanley, state softball commissioner, said, Weve spruced up the look of our site to make it more professional and inviting. Our goal is to make it a comprehensive source of information so our players, fans and the media have easy access to things like tournament schedules and results, contact personnel and especially news.

Our site contains several links to ongoing national, international and Olympic news and information - for instance:

  • The Inside Pitch, the Official Newsletter (online) of the Amateur Softball Association
  • Balls and Strikes Online Magazine
  • USA Softball.com
  • The Official Site of the U.S. Olympic Team

Our website also conveys a strong sense of the history, role and legacy of softball in North Dakota sports.

The Amateur Softball Association in Oklahoma City, OK, is the national governing body of softball. The ASA is a dynamic organization that provides us with a lot of leadership, news and educational material.

Were trying to create greater awareness for softball, attract more players and fans, and regulate competition to insure fairness and equal opportunity to the thousands of North Dakota men, women and kids who annually play the sport," said Hanley.

The NDASA website was designed by Jerry Busche & Associates, Jacksonville, FL. The marketing company is headed by North Dakota native Jerry Busche.

For additional information and contact information, visit the NDASA website at http://www.ndasa.org.
