Tulsa, OK (PRWEB) June 25, 2004 -- The CWS BestClean Seat distributed by AmeriSwiss Company conform to the Uniform Plumbing Code requirements for a listed toilet seat. The seats meet the intent of the code for sanitation of the user in public and employee restrooms. The seat are an alternative design that provides a higher level of safety than standard toilet seats.

Each seat automatically, by sensor, cleans the seat after use. The seat is rotated through a cleaning sluice which cleans and disinfects the toilet seat. The cleaning process takes 15 seconds to complete. An extra cleaning can be accomplished by signaling the automatic sensor.

The following test reports have been issued for the CWS Best CleanSeat.

1. Report of test by Infection Control Holland, Houten, Holland dated May 1995. The sample seats were contaminated with staphylococcus aureus, enterococci, e-coli, and pseudomonas aeruginosa microorganisms. The cleaning and disinfecting cycle removed the microorganisms for the seat. The seat passed all tests.

2. Report of tests by SGS US Testing Company, Inc., Tulsa, OK dated October 15th, 2003, Report Number 17367. A sample seat was tested to ANSI Z 124.5 regulating plastic toilet seats. The seat passed all required test.

3. Report of test by Technoplast Engineering dated February 27, 1998. Sample seats were subjected to fatigue testing. The seats passed the required tests.
