Honors included being chosen as one of three finalists for the Harlie F. Zimmerman Award, which recognizes Best in Class" for overall marketing plan and annual results. The award is named for Quality Chekds inaugural managing director from 1949 through 1980.

Sinton Dairy Company also received three Marketing Merit of Excellence Awards, which recognized their innovative and creative marketing programs implemented during the course of 2003.

These awards included recognition for "Best New Use of the Quality Chekd Trademark," "Best Philanthropic Offering by a Member," and "Best Collateral Material" due to their success at communicating the quality behind the brand name.

The two Production Merit of Excellence Awards recognize a member dairy that achieves impressive performance levels well above industry standards. The awards were given to Sinton Dairy Company for production excellence for its fluid milk and cultured products. Silliker Laboratory and Quality Chekds 2003 tests gave Sinton Dairy Foods exemplary scores that exceeded the high standards necessary to be a Quality Chekd dairy. Each member dairy who receives the Merit Awards has maintained the highest standard throughout the year, providing a highly-rated, quality product.
